Kasper has completed and delivered on two projects with our company and is currently in the process of a third project. The projects have been in the residential care sector and involved the construction of a $20 million facility over two phases with 82 beds constructed in phase one and subsequent addition of 30 beds in phase two (approximately 8 months later). The current project is a $4.0 million renovation to an existing care facility that will continue to operate during this process which will require additional diligence to properly manage.

In each case, the projects have required general contractor services including estimating, tender issuance & selection, contract issuance, project management, payment processing and on-going reporting. In addition, the expectations for the project have been on-time and on-budget with close monitoring of safety and environmental practices. In short, Kasper has consistently met and/or exceeded our expectations. Kasper has an extensive network of connections that are easily accesses for trade selection and his company team is very skilled and service focused. In addition, Kasper personally monitors the projects and ensures regular reporting of progress and issues to the owners.

Kasper Development was excellent at handling the on-going requests of the three foundations as well as last minute changes due to donor purchases and initiatives.

I found Doug Kasper and his team to be professional, timely and responsive. The Hospice project was under very tight timelines as well as budget. I am happy to say Doug and his crew brought the project in on time and under budget. It was important to Interior Health the project used local labour wherever possible and Kasper ensured the majority of the trades where local.

I can honestly say I felt the entire staff of Kasper Development took this project to heart and worked well with all the local authorities, design consultants, Interior Health users groups and the foundations. Ames Metal Fabricators (AMF) has successfully completed many projects with KDC and with Mr. Kasper in the past. AMF has always enjoyed working with KDC on their projects due to the high level of professionalism and care that KDS puts into their projects.

On many projects we have to put up with inadequate flow of information needed on a timely basis for the uninterrupted pace of work required to meet schedule, this has never been a problem for us on a KDC project.

InSite was recently part of a team developing seniors housing in Coquitlam, BC and worked very closely with Kasper Development Corp throughout the planning and construction phases.
